Celtic Helmet Pencil Topper

Product Description: This Celtic Helmet pencil topper is made from lead-free pewter and is a 3D model of the Celtic Waterloo helmet. It is affixed on top of a 13cm black wooden pencil with the word “Celtic” and two Celtic knot designs printed on it in silver.

Information: The Celtic Waterloo helmet gets its name from where it was found. The original helmet was dredged from the River Thames at Waterloo Bridge in the early 1860s. It is the only Celtic helmet to have ever been found in southern England, and it is the only Celtic helmet with horns ever to have been found anywhere in Europe. The helmet is unlikely to have been used in battle and was probably a form of ceremonial headdress.
