Product Description: The Celtic History Ruler is plastic and measures 30cm long. It shows measurements in both inches and centimetres. On the inches scale it includes units of 1/16 of an inch and on the centimetre side units of 1 millimetre.
On the front of the ruler are images of the Celts in battle, a Celtic statue of a head and Celtic stylised horse. On either side are Celtic knot designs.
On the reverse of the ruler is an ancient Celtic timeline. The timeline starts from 700 BC and the Celts in Austria burying their weapons with their dead and runs through to AD 663 when the Council of Whitby decides for Roman over the Celtic Church. Highlights include when the La Tene phase of Celtic Culture begins 550 BC and spreads to the British Isles, Julius Caesar defeats many Celtic tribes 58 BC, Queen Boudicca leads the Iceni tribe against the Romans AD 61 and the Celts adopt Roman ways around AD 200.
