Information: Horus was an Egyptian sky god in the form of a falcon whose right eye was the sun and his left eye the moon. According to myth, in a fight to defeat Setekh of Ombos, Horus’ moon eye was damaged and healed by the god Thoth. From then onwards the moon appeared at night in broken pieces.
