Product Description: This 3.5cm wide Celtic Boar is made from resin that is painted with an antique bronze finish. It is supplied with a full-colour information card that has an image of a Celtic boar. There is also historical information which explains about how the boar had an impact on the Celts. The boar and folded card are supplied in a clear box.
Information: To Celtic people, the boar represented fertility and wealth as well as courage and strength in warriors, for they were seen as being strong and dangerous. The Roman historian Tacitus reported that a Celtic tribe in Germany wore amulets of the wild boar to protect themselves in battle.
