Priest Ring - Pewter

Product Description: This Egyptian Priest Ring is made from lead-free pewter and has a hieroglyphic design on top of it. The ring size can be changed to make it larger or smaller. The ring is supplied in a clear blister mounted to an information card. The information card depicts an Egyptian funeral scene on the front and describes each of the three different Egyptian rings available in the collection on the reverse.

Information: Worn by Priests in Egypt around 2000 years ago, the form of this ring is characteristic of the 26th Dynasty. Its owner would have been a highly ranked official probably in the administration of a high priestess.
