Roman Coin Key-Ring

Product Description: This Roman Coin is made from lead-free pewter that is bronzed. There are 2 different coins available, an As of Claudius with Minerva on the reverse and a Dupondius of Nero with Roma depicted on the reverse. Each is supplied on a quality key-chain. The Roman coin key-ring is presented on a Roman key-ring header card.

Information: Roman currency for most of Roman history consisted of gold, silver, bronze and copper coinage. From its introduction to the Republic, during the third century BC, well into Imperial times, Roman currency saw many changes in form, denomination, and composition.

The bronze As was introduced in 280BC and was used until around 250 AD. The bronze Dupondius was introduced later in 23 BC and was also used until around 250 AD.
