Yorick Skull 7cm

Product Description: This model of Yorick's Skull on a base is made from resin that is hand painted and measures 7cm tall. The base is inscribed with the words "Alas Poor Yorick". The model is supplied in a white box with a label identifying it on the front.

Information: Yorick is a character in William Shakespeare's play Hamlet, who is mentioned several times but never appears on stage. Yorick is a court jester who entertained Hamlet when he was a child, and his skull is famously discovered by Hamlet in the graveyard scene. In Act 5, Scene 1, Hamlet holds Yorick's skull and delivers his famous monologue beginning with the lines "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy."
