Product Description: This Spitfire pin badge is made from metal and is a raised high definition 3D image of the side profile of the aeroplane. It is supplied on a pin with separate clasp. The pin badge is mounted on an information card, which has the Spitfire title and details of Wing Commander ‘Johnnie’ Johnson who flew the Spitfire on the front. On the reverse is historical information about Johnson and the aircraft.
Information: Johnson was credited with 34 individual victories over enemy aircraft, as well as seven shared victories, three shared probable, ten damaged, three shared damaged and one destroyed on the ground. This made him the highest scoring Western Allied fighter ace in WWII against the German Luftwaffe.
