Trench Warfare Transfer Pack

Product Description: This Trench Warfare transfer pack consists of a full colour A4 size card with a scene of a British World War I trench with aeroplanes and tanks on the inside and on the reverse of the pack an image of British troops going into battle to colour in as well as historical information.

Also supplied is a sheet of over 45 rubdown action transfers including British troops, aeroplanes, tanks and explosions that can be 'rubbed' onto the card so you can create your own trench warfare scene.

Information: World War I was fought in the air, on land and at sea. Thousands of miles of parallel trenches were dug along the western front from the north coast of Belgium to Switzerland. Various new weapons were introduced during the conflict including hand grenades, poison gas, trench mortars and tanks. Life in the trenches was very unpleasant as the trenches were filthy and waterlogged and rats and disease was commonplace. Both sides would constantly shell each other and then send their troops 'over the top' to capture their opponents trenches, sometimes with disastrous consequences.
