Triceratops Pendant - Pewter

Product Description: This Triceratops pendant is made from lead-free pewter and is a side profile of the triceratops. The triceratops is supplied on a waxed cord. The pendant is mounted on an information card, which explains about herbivores and triceratops.

Information: Plant eating dinosaurs had to eat large amounts of plants every day to survive. Some had teeth made for chopping, raking or crushing and others had sharp beaks for snipping twigs and leaves.

Triceratops was a herbivore that probably ate cycads, palms and other low-lying plants. It walked on four legs and had three horns on its face along with a bony plate projecting from the back of its skull. Triceratops hatched from eggs and grew to about 9 metres long, 3 metres tall and weighed up to 6-12 tons.
