Tutankhamun Mask Magnet

Product Description: This 6cm tall mask of Tutankhamun is made from resin that is painted gold with hand painted coloured detail. The mask is in a front profile and has a magnet attached to the reverse side.

Information: The mask of Tutankhamun is a death mask of the 18th-dynasty ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun who reigned between 1332–1323BC.

The original mask is a marvel of skilled craftsmanship. Weighing 10kg, it was beaten from sheet gold and inlaid with coloured glass and semi-precious stones. The stripes on the headdress are glass, but the eyeliner and eyebrows are of lapis lazuli. The eyes themselves are of obsidian (black volcanic glass) and quartz.
