Van Gogh Sunflower Pendant on Chain - Gold Plated

Product Description: This Van Gogh Sunflower pendant is made from lead-free pewter that is 22ct gold plated. The Van Gogh sunflower pendant is supplied on a gold chain. The pendant is mounted on a fold-over information card, which has an image of a painting by Van Gogh called "Sunflowers" on the front. There is information about Van Gogh on the reverse.

Information: Vincent van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1980) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist. His work had a far-reaching influence on 20th century art.

Initially, Van Gogh worked with sombre colours until he encountered Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism in Paris. He produced more than 2,000 works including portraits, self-portraits, landscapes and still lifes.

In the final two years of his life he cut part of his left ear off and, after suffering frequent bouts of mental illness, he committed suicide aged 37.
