Information: The Viking helmet is based on the York Helmet, an Anglian helmet buried during the Viking occupation of York, which is the best surviving example in Europe. It was expertly made using iron and brass. The nose-piece is beautifully decorated and is a testament to the skill and artistry of the Vikings.
