Viking Shield Key-Ring

Information: Shields were used by the Viking warriors of the Scandinavian cultures for protection in battle. They were typically made of wood and covered with leather and had a metal boss (a round protrusion) in the centre, which could be used to deflect blows from weapons. Viking shields were often decorated with designs, such as geometric patterns or the colours of the warrior's clan or family. In combat, Viking shields were used to protect the warrior's body from attacks by swords, axes, and other weapons. They were also used to block incoming projectiles, such as arrows.
