Coppergate York Helmet Thimble

Product Description: This Coppergate York Helmet miniature is made from lead-free pewter. It is supplied with a full-colour information card that has an image and drawing of the York Helmet on the front. There is also historical information which describes the discovery and detail of the helmet. The helmet and folded card are supplied in a clear box.

Information: Found in Coppergate, York in 1982 the helmet was found to have the following inscription in Latin and translated as follows – In the name of our Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit, God the Father and with all we pray, Amen. Oshere. XPI.
