Information: Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill (30 November 1874 – 24 January 1965) was born at Blenheim Palace and went to School at Harrow and later on at Sandhurst. He was a British statesman, soldier and writer who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom twice, from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. His inspiring speeches bolstered morale and guided Britain to victory during the Second World War.

Churchill Crowns were minted by The Royal Mint in Wales to mark the death of Sir Winston Churchill.
