Product Description: This Nieuport 17C Biplane pin badge is made from metal and is a raised high definition 3D image of the side profile of the Biplane. It is supplied on a pin with separate clasp. The pin badge is mounted on an information card, which has the biplane title and details of Captain Albert Ball who flew the biplane on the front. On the reverse is historical information about Albert Ball and the aircraft.

Information: Albert Ball (14 August 1896 – 7 May 1917) was a British fighter pilot during the First World War. At the time of his death he was the United Kingdom’s leading flying ace, with 44 victories and ranked 4th by the end of the war.

He was awarded the Victoria Cross posthumously after he was posted missing after a mission on the evening of 7 May 1917.
